Founded in 2023 by Asparuh Gavrailov and Evgeni Sabev, Cybersecurity Challenge Bulgaria is an ideal and non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and development of cybersecurity in Bulgaria. Every year a competition is announced to gather young talents who go through qualifications and take part in the European Cyber ​​Security Championship (ECSC).

The European Cybersecurity Championship is an initiative of the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) and aims to develop cybersecurity talent in Europe by connecting high-potential individuals with industry leaders. European countries organize national cybersecurity competitions, with the winners representing their countries at the ECSC.

In 2023, the Bulgarian National Cyber ​​Team made history by participating in the European Cyber ​​Security Championship (ECSC) for the first time, demonstrating their growing capabilities in this field. The Bulgarian team showed exceptional skills, determination and adaptability, deserving recognition and respect from both the participants and the organizers. ECSC offers a variety of challenges that test participants' technical skills, problem-solving skills and teamwork. These challenges mimic real-world scenarios, providing hands-on experience in dealing with cybersecurity issues.
