Our mission
From curiosity to national team
Founded in 2023 by Asparuh Gavrailov and Evgeni Sabev, Cybersecurity Challenge Bulgaria is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing cybersecurity education and developing young talent in Bulgaria. Each year, we organize qualifications to select the young people who will represent Bulgaria at the European Cyber Security Challenge (ECSC).

In 2023, Bulgaria’s national team made its ECSC debut and opened a new chapter for the country’s young cyber talent.
In 2023, the Bulgarian National Cyber Team made history by participating in the European Cyber Security Championship (ECSC) for the first time, demonstrating their growing capabilities in this field. The Bulgarian team showed exceptional skills, determination and adaptability, deserving recognition and respect from both the participants and the organizers. ECSC offers a variety of challenges that test participants' technical skills, problem-solving skills and teamwork. These challenges mimic real-world scenarios, providing hands-on experience in dealing with cybersecurity issues.

You can participate if you were born between 1 January 2001 and 31 December 2011. Rankings are split into two categories:
- JuniorBorn 2006–2011
- SeniorBorn 2001–2005
